{Judah} 2 Months Old

Everyone says that babies and kids grow up too fast, and it is so true. I really can't believe that Judah is two months old already. We had a great month with him and it's hard to remember what life was like not being his mom! Judah spent so much more time awake. We could notice that he recognizes us and a lot of times calmed down when we held him. Judah started to get into a little more of a routine, usually going to bed around 8 and waking up around 7. He took wonderful naps in his swing each morning which left me with lots of time to take a shower and clean up the house. He does so well going to bed each night, rarely crying and usually falling asleep all on his own within 10 minutes or so. Judah also started sleeping much longer stretches this month - very thankful for that! Towards the end of the month, he would sleep around 6 hours for the first stretch. He likes to be swaddled and listen to his giraffe sound machine each night.

Judah was so much more smiley this month and was a happy boy on his first Thanksgiving morning.

Judah can be pretty fussy sometimes, and it was something we asked the doctor about at his 2 month appointment. We're trying some medicine to see if he has some reflux, and hopefully that helps. He is definitely a healthy boy though - he weighs almost 13 pounds, 12.8 oz. (90th percentile) and is 24 inches long (85th percentile). Look how much he's already changed!
