Judah's 1st Christmas

Christmas this year was so different, but so much better, with a baby! Shopping took a little more time and planning, but we were also able to order a lot of our presents online too. We put up the tree and lights the day after Thanksgiving and spent lots more family time in the living room so that he could look at all the lights. Judah also got to meet Santa at Bass Pro Shop.

We started all of our celebrations with family on the day before Christmas Eve. We took Jude to Drew's grandma's house to spend the evening with all of the cousins, aunts, and uncles. We got off to rough start because Jude had to be woken up from a nap to make the drive, then he was crying for a good part of the night. Poor guy was tired and we ended up having to leave early. But we loved getting to see Drew's family and enjoyed catching up with everyone.

On Christmas Eve, we spent the day at Drew's parents' house to eat and open presents. Here are a few pictures from the day.

On Christmas Day, we went to my grandpa's house for a meal and gifts.

Judah did great on both of these days and even took good naps in the pack 'n play and car seat. He received lots of nice things and will have plenty of toys for the upcoming year.

To end Christmas night, Drew and I took special time to open a couple of gifts from us and to read the Christmas story together from the gospel of Luke.

It was a perfect way to end the holiday!
