Catching Up and Valentine's Day

Yet again, more time has passed by and I haven't updated my blog for a couple of months!  I have to say, any blog posts about the last two months wouldn't be very exciting.  We've had lots of days where we haven't left the house because it has been a very cold and snowy Midwest winter.  We've also had lots of days where someone in our family has been sick...all three of us (mostly Judah) have gotten colds, the flu, or yucky viral stuff at some point.  We are so ready for spring!

We did have a fun time celebrating Valentine's Day though!  A couple days before, I had Judah work on picking out his valentines for his family and friends.  Last year I had snagged a box of Toy Story valentines on clearance and saved them for this year.  It ended up working out great because Judah has recently come to love all things Buzz and Woody!

He picked out a card for each of his valentines.

He decorated the envelopes with heart stickers and colored with red and pink crayons.

On Valentine's Day, Drew had the day off so we got to spend the day together.  It started snowing (again) but it wasn't too cold outside so Judah got to go play in the snow with his dad.

After coming inside, Judah opened his Valentine's day present.

It's a new Play-Doh toy!  Play-Doh has been a lifesaver while being stuck inside all winter.  He was pretty excited to make some cookies with his new set.

We had a great Valentine's Day and got to go on a double date the next night.  Looking forward to many more!
