Easter 2014

We had such a great Easter with Judah.  We dyed eggs on Good Friday and he really loved drawing on the eggs with the magic crayons and then watching them change color.

This year was especially fun because it was the first Easter where he's really gotten excited about looking for eggs and his basket.

He woke up early on Sunday morning and went looking for his eggs in our family room.  Then we told him to look for his basket.  The basket was behind a chair so it was hard to get a picture of his face when he saw it, but he was thrilled.

He got two new books, an "Up" coloring book, some candy, and a little Sully from Hallmark, plus some candy.

Later that morning, we went to church then went to my parents' afterward for brunch and another egg hunt.  He was spoiled rotten, of course! :)

It was a perfect day, sunny and warm, and we had so much fun celebrating.  Of course holidays are always a little hard because we were thinking of our little one in Congo, wishing they were home with us.  We're just going to keep praying that soon we will get to celebrate their first holidays home with us!
