{Judah} 5 Months Old

Jude is just getting bigger and more fun as each month goes by. This month we went through some ups and downs with his sleeping habits. We finally broke him of his swaddle a few weeks ago...and it ended up being so easy! We had been working on this for a little while, and while I was doing some research on the internet, I kept coming across these parents recommending a "Zipadee-Zip" for babies who like to be swaddled. We decided to get one, and it really helped Jude sleep at night. Toward the end of the month, he went through a rough sleeping patch, but we seem to have gone back to normal for now.

We have heard so much more laughing this month! He gets the giggles over the littlest noises and it's fun seeing more of his personality. We've also -finally- reached the point where he doesn't scream when getting strapped in a car seat or after a bath. 

Jude has started to love books and chewing on his fingers. I've also lost a lot of hair this month because he's always grabbing for it. Jude has been loving his jumper and likes to jump in our laps too. 

We're still working on the rolling over...he will occasionally roll from tummy to back, but he has not mastered back to tummy yet. It has also been really cute to see him blowing spit bubbles and grabbing his little toes! 

 First time sitting up - lasted about 3 seconds!

Somebody missed a nap today...in no mood for smiles...
