{Judah} 3 Years Old

Our little boy just celebrated his 3rd birthday!  It is amazing to me how quickly these three years have gone, yet how I can't even imagine life without him being here.  Judah is growing up so quickly, and we are really enjoying life with a three year old.

It has been a big year of changes.  It feels like we are truly out of the baby stage with him now...no more high chair, no more diapers, and we just switched him over to a big boy bed.

In three years, Judah never once tried to climb out of his crib.  It was really nice for us, but definitely made the switch to a bigger bed a bit late.  Why mess with a good thing? :)

But, after turning three, we decided it was time to upgrade him to a bigger bed.  He was so excited!

He has done so well switching beds.  He is still a great sleeper and takes a good nap every day.

You also may notice from these pictures that Judah looks a bit different these days - he got a new haircut this summer.  It took a little while for me to get used to, but now I love the buzz cut and think we'll keep his hair this way for awhile.  These pictures were taken right after Daddy trimmed his hair.

You can see here that he just loves to read.  This is one of the things I love best about my boy and hope that he will always love books.

Speaking of some of Judah's favorite things, he still loves trucks and tractors.  He knows all the names and driving through a construction zone is what he loves best.

He also loves robots, Rescue Bots, and dinosaurs - I think he knows more dinosaur names than we do!  Judah is really starting to like Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles too.

Judah got to go to his first movie this summer with his friend Aubrey.  We went to see Planes: Fire and Rescue.  They looked so cute together, munching on their popcorn and jumping up and down during the exciting parts.

We have had so much fun with him lately.  We love going to the library, going to the park, getting ice cream, and going on Mommy/Judah dates.

We have had such a wonderful year with our little boy.  We can't wait to watch him grow up and are so thankful we get to be his parents!
