More than Sparrows: {Sylvie} 3 Months Old

This little lady is already 3 months old!

She is growing up so quickly and changing all the time. Here is what she has been up to lately...

Sleeping:
Sylvie is slowly but surely getting better about sleeping. She has slept through the night four times now (but not in a row). She goes to bed around 8:00-8:30. Then, she will usually wake up one time (at around 2:00 or 3:00) and then go back to sleep until 7-7:30. And, she has gotten so good at going right back to sleep after a nighttime feeding which means I am getting so much more rest!

Sylvie's naps are still all over the place...sometimes she'll take really long naps, but most days her naps stop at 45 minutes. It's hard when she is still tired but won't go back to sleep. She usually takes four naps a day.

She still sleeps swaddled but has become a little Houdini and can get her right arm out pretty easily. There have been a few times that she has slept with her arm out of the swaddle, but she does still like being wrapped up tight to fall asleep.

Eating:
Sylvie is such a good eater. As you can see by her pictures, she's getting lots of chunky rolls on her arms and legs. And look at her cheeks! :) She eats about five times a day, plus one night time feeding.

Growth:
We don't have her exact stats this month, but we can tell she is growing so much. She seems really long and I can't wait to see at her 4 month check-up how big she has gotten. She is still wearing 0-3 month clothes but has started wearing 3-6 month sleepers too.

Milestones:
I actually cannot believe how this worked out, but Sylvie showed her first real smile on Mother's Day (May 10) and her first laugh on Father's Day (June 21). It would have been a great Father's Day present for Drew if he had gotten to hear it, ha! I was bouncing her up and down at my dad's family get-together and she broke out in the cutest little giggles. So sweet!

Sylvie has also discovered her hands and will stare at her fist for the longest time. She is also trying to figure out how to grab the hanging toys on her activity mat.

Likes:
her activity mat, blowing spit bubbles, being held for naps, her puppy lovey, taking baths, and watching Judah

Dislikes:
getting out of the bath tub and being in the car seat for too long
