Another Step Closer

Yesterday we had our fingerprint appointment at our local CIS. We woke up bright and early to make the drive and arrive at our appointment on time. It really brought back memories of our trip here two years ago. This time we had a little passenger join us!

Jude did pretty well during the drive, but there were a couple of times I had to hop in the backseat to entertain him. It was a long day for the little guy, but he did get to go to Portillo's for the very first time :)

We have almost all of our paperwork completed and now we are waiting for papers to come back to us. The main things we are waiting on are the FBI criminal record check and CIS approval, which we will get after our home study is mailed. We're getting so close!
