Dossier is in the mail!

Our CIS approval arrived yesterday in the mail - yay! This was the last document we were waiting on. So last night, we went to the library to get bunch of papers notarized and a few things copied. It took about a half an hour, so thank goodness Jude was happy to sit and watch us sign papers.

Right now, our dossier is on its way to our caseworker, who will check it over and make sure we have all of the documents. Then, it will be sent to the Ohio office of EAC to be checked again. If all goes well, our dossier will be on its way to Ghana next week. This is a pilot program, so we're not sure exactly how long it should be before we get a referral. But, it should be a much shorter wait than Ethiopia so hopefully we'll see some pictures soon. :)
